Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

I was kind of a maniac this evening. It was AH-Mazing! :)

That was after I lugged my bags in, changed, and plopped myself on the couch.

I didn’t think I was ever getting up. Why would I? Soooo comfy. Ugh. But alas, I couldn’t lay there like a fat lazy bum. I rallied. And I rallied GOOD!

I got in a 25 minute HIIT session and prepped veggies. Asparagus & broccolini ready to be roasted – a little olive oil, bragg’s, and onion powder. All those need now is 10 minutes at 400F. Doesn’t get easier than that.

Pilot was in charge of the chicken….a whole chicken. That went right into our Advantium. Which means I had time for a workout. I warmed up with some high knees, air squats, and dynamic flexibility. Then I was ready to go.

UPDATE: Fail on the screenshot. I promise next time I’ll get rid of the squiggly lines. 

25 minutes later I was sweating, panting, and ready to eat. That’s the way to do it. So even though I got stuck in traffic and got home late I wasn’t going to let that ruin my workout. To be honest there was a few minutes there where I almost did. Not sure what got into me but I’m happy it did because I feel great after a little sweat session. Crisis averted. I’ve been known to get a little nasty when I don’t workout. 

So back to dinner. PERFECT!

I love that stinkin’ Advantium. Can you believe we had a whole chicken cooked and ready in just 40 minutes? What a time saver. It’s kind of like a time machine, no?

It’s only 9pm and I’m all done for the night. It’s time for New Girl. Anyone else watch? LOVE that show.
